Tudor, Tasha. New York: Oxford Univ. Press, 1946. 1st edition. 4 5/8" x 4"
pp. An extraordinarily pristine clean and tight copy of the last of the "Calico books." The dust jacket's lower front corner is price clipped. this correlates with Thomas McCready's penciled re-pricing of thre first three titles on the rear dust jacket flap. They were printed with $1.00 price; McCready lined through those prices and replaced them with a hand-written 1.50. The only other writing in the book is Tudor's 1950s inked signature on the front free endpaper. This book belonged to a New Hampshire family for many years. They purchased it at the Ginger & Pickles store in the McCready house, Webster. Tudor's shop label in brown ink with the Contoocook address is affixed to the upper left corner of the rear free endpaper.F / F. Item #28197
