DOLL FURNITURE TUDOR STYLE DOLL HOUSE

CA. 1930. 32" x 44"

An interesting dollhouse in a Tudor open beam style with stucco walls from ca. 1930. This is a large piece with four chambers and two halls. Each chamber has its own fireplace serviced by two end chimney stacks. Six swing panels forming the façade of the house open to provide access to the major spaces. The center hall has a stair case to the upper floor. Leaded glass light fixtures are wired with switch and power cord. The house is mounted on a plywood sheet that includes landscape features outside the house. A paved walk leads to the front door, trees and ivy abound and a stack of firewood for the kitchen chamber sits at one end of the house - in a modified wood yard. An ample supply of fire wood was necessary for heating this large home in a former age. And still, the home has been brought into the 20th century with wiring to ceiling fixtures. The house stands 32" high to chimney tips and 32" wide by 19 ½" deep including gutters. The supporting board is 32" x 44"
