This print of an early watercolor by Tudor is sketched in with most color going to the foxgloves. A green wash largely defines the image of a colonial woman and girl walking in front of a flower bed approaching a long walk to a stately white mansion. At the back, a line of elms flanks the house; in the front, brick steps and white gate posts present the entrance to the walk. The image measures 6 1/2" x 8". This print was a courtesy gift to Jenny Wren Press customers. It was not offered for sale in their catalogs.
