One of 20 watercolor illustrations that Bethany Tudor painted for her own story about 4 little Steiff animals - Samuel, Samantha, Gweek and Owl. Samuel and Samantha lose their house in a terrible rain storm. Perseverance brings them to the home of Owl and Gweek with whom they manage to live amicably.

The two ducklings come across a nice house in their search. They are visiting with Gweek and Mr. Owl who appear in the windows. The image shows the two ducklings examining the damage to their living room from rain water soaking the interior. The door and ceiiling are askew. This piece has been the property of Bethany Tudor from the day it was created.
