The piece is signed, T. Tudor, (undated) at the lower left corner beneath the oak leaf. Published on page 48 in A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson (Rand McNally, 1981).
The art is matted and framed under glass. We have not examined the art out of its frame. The exposed image measures 9" vertical x 7" horizontal, on art paper exposing 10 ½" x 8 ¾" under a tan mat, all in a gilt wood frame 18" x 15 ½". The back of the frame is sealed with brown Kraft paper. There is no documentation for the matting and framing. We suspect the framing was accomplished while in the possession of Corgi Cottage Industries in Richmond, VA, circa 1995.
